Diploma process
Conditions for submitting the thesis and taking the diploma examination
Pursuant to the study regulations and the study plan, after completing the last semester of studies, the student is required to submit a diploma thesis and take the diploma examination. The condition for admission to the diploma examination is:
- obtaining credits for all modules required by the study program. Failure to pass the credit does not exempt from the obligation to submit the diploma thesis on time.
- obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis in accordance with § 33 it. 6.
The date of the examination is appointed by the Vice-Dean (§ 35 item 4)
Submission of the diploma thesis (§34 section 1 Regulations of Studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences)
- until January 31 – for students finishing the winter semester;
- until June 30 – for students finishing the summer semester
In the Dean’s Office the following should be submitted:
- a copy paper thesis, bound and signed by the supervisor and the student along with the version saved on an electronic carrier in the form of one PDF file, which was verified in the anti-plagiarism system – intended for the student’s personal files . The author of the work is responsible for the content on an electronic medium (pursuant to §34 section 4 Regulations of Studies at SGGW);
- a copy of the work in the form of a bound printout and on a CD (in a soft envelope glued to one copy of the work) signed by the supervisor and the student – intended for transfer to the Main Library (in accordance with the Regulation No. 22 of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences of 30 November 2004);
- anti-plagiarism report signed by the thesis supervisor (point 15 of the Anti-plagiarism Regulations of students’ diploma theses of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences);
- Application for admission to the diploma examination (the form can be downloaded from the Dean’s Office or from the Faculty’s website);
- statement on participation in the PN study “Monitoring the Professional Fate of Graduates” The statement is completed and entered by the student in ehms (virtual Dean’s Office) in the “my data” tab. The declaration should be printed, signed and submitted to the Dean’s Office.
- four photos in 45 × 65 mm format . Pictures should be taken professionally, on photographic paper , clear, aesthetic and reflect the current image of the person on light background, in an elegant lilac outfit headgear and dark glasses while keeping the face evenly lit.
